News from the last meeting
The 2020 Car Model show flyers are ready to go. Members are welcome to distribute them at upcoming events and local hobby shops.
Christophe added an “Agenda?” section to the new website where visitors can find important dates like our next car model show or the upcoming Maker Faire event at the science museum September 14th.
Christophe is still looking for feedback on the hobby shops in their respective area. The intent is to build a map on the website to gather all this information.
As suggested by Gerry Chevalier, members are encouraged to share pictures of their work area for a future post.
Gerry C and Gene gave us some cool feedback on the Deuce Days car and model show in Victoria. Look for another post on our blog for some great pictures of this event. Thank you Gene and Gerry!
Thanks to Gordon Hall, we know now that Model decals depot can print custom waterslide decals in several color at once, go check it out at http://www.modeldecaldepot.ca/
Finally, there will be model car workshop August 18th from 1pm to 3pm at Outlet at Leigh Square at Port Coquitlam.
What’s on the bench?
The stars of this meeting were without a doubt Brian and Matt who drove all the way from Kelowna in a S197 Bullit Mustang to attend our meeting (we would like to think so ;) ) and came with a great selection of work in progress.
Here a few pictures of the other work in progress from our fellow members and visitors:

What will be discussed in the next meeting?
We keep working on the show flyer distribution.
We will finish preparing for the Maker Faire event.
We hope to see you there!
New members and visitors are always welcome! Our next meeting will be September 10th at the Lions Housing Society Club House 7420 Mulberry Place in Burnaby, from 7pm to 9pm.
