News from the last meeting

There will be a 2020 model show in March and Christophe Baretta will be the organizer for the event. The theme will be: “Build a Famous Movie Car”. Christophe will work on the flyer for the next meeting.

The new NNL format of the 2019 show was well received. It was easier to organize and there were a lot of participants with great quality models on the tables. The 2020 show will use the same format.

The March meeting was host of the club internal contest. With 12 quality entries, Rick’s model was picked as the best one this year. Here are some pictures of the models:

What will be discussed in the next meeting?

We will need to elect a new President and Vice-president as the current office decided to step down. Candidates are welcome for those positions. The Treasurer position will be filled by Doug Rathie. Thank you Doug!

We will pick our contest flyer and discuss further the future of the club and particularly communication / advertising.

New members and visitors are always welcome! Our next meeting will be May 14th at the Lions Housing Society Club House 7420 Mulberry Place in Burnaby, from 7pm to 9pm.
