News from the last meeting

The date is tentatively set for our 2020 Car Model show and it should be March 21st, 2020, you can already save the date!

The Official flyer will be ready soon, start working on your famous movie car.

The last meeting was also time for elections of the new executive committee for the club. Doug Rathie was elected as Treasurer and Christophe Baretta as President. There was no volunteer in the attendance to fulfill the vice-president position. There will be another attempt to fulfill this position at the next meeting so do not hesitate to come if you want to invest some of your time in the club.

Gerry Chevalier went to GSL Salt Lake City and was kind enough to set a slideshow on his monitor to share close to 700 pictures. He also had quite a few interesting stories and motivated us to join him for the next and possibly last run in 2022.

What will be discussed in the next meeting?

We will need to elect a new Vice-president. Candidates are welcome for this position.

We should have our official 2020 car model show flyer and we will discuss further the future of the club and particularly communication / advertising.

New members and visitors are always welcome! Our next meeting will be June 11th at the Lions Housing Society Club House 7420 Mulberry Place in Burnaby, from 7pm to 9pm.
